Li-Cycle’s Spoke 2 Process

Located in Building 350 of Eastman Business Park (EBP) in Rochester, NY, Li-Cycle, Inc.’s  (Li-Cycle’s) Commercial Spoke 2 facility receives spent lithium ion batteries from customers, other Li-Cycle facilities, and its network of universal waste handlers of Li-ion batteries for processing and recovery of the critical materials contained within the batteries using its patented Li-Cycle Technology™. The Li-Cycle Technology allows the facility to recover greater than 95% of all materials in Li-ion batteries. 

The virtual tour will be led by Li-Cycle’s Andrew Fleming, Spoke 2 Plant Manager, with assistance by Jackson Palmer, a Li-Cycle mechanical engineer.
